Located south of Seouls administrative boundary. Gwachon was originally designed to house the Second Governmental Complex and related population. Gwachon has become, like other similar developments in the capital region, a mere extension of Seouls outlying residential districts. Most of the residents commute to Seoul for jobs and other porposes by means of the convenient and rapid transport network.
