DAR is preparing a master plan for a new town located on a site 70 km to the north of the existing Hassi Messaoud town, for the accommodation of Sonatrach staff and the inhabitants of the existing town who will be relocated following the discovery of oil and gas beneath its site.
The project includes preparing a detailed programme for housing and community facilities, elaboration of planning options, development of a master plan and massing plan, as well as concept design of infrastructure utilities.
