Hope City is the acronym for “Home, Office, People and Environment”. The project of the new city started in 2013 and it was expected to be completed within three years, but the construction has not started yet.
Hope City is planned as a technology park, focused on information communication technology. It is designed as a vertical city of towers linked by bridges at different height, to represent an alternative to the typical campus scheme.
This Hi-tech project is located in Prampram, in the region of Great Accra, on the initiative of AGAMS group and CEO in collaboration with the Government of Ghana. It takes part in the national development policy that wants to turn Ghana into a knowledge-society and a competitive actor in the global economy.
