Trained gardener and landscape architect, head of the Ecological Animation Studio at the Norwid Culture Centre (part of the Nowa Huta Heritage Lab). She participates in many projects aimed at making the younger and older generations learn about the Earth. These include: ecological knowledge tournaments, education, and publications about the Nowa Huta meadows and green spaces in Kraków and in particular Nowa Huta. In her spare time, Ela enjoys walking her dog and knitting.
